This boy

I really cherish the times that I get alone with Toby. It really doesn't happen as often as it should. But Kevin and Liv were doing something and so I decided to do an impromptu photoshoot with Toby in my favorite jammies. Love the colors and him in them. His crazy faces for the camera were killing me! Here is Toby...22 months of pure joy.

One of those days

Today is one of those days.
One of those days where I don't want to be who I am.
I am exhausted.
However, today is one of those days.
When I take a quick minute to myself to really try to thank God for everything I am.
And everything that I have.
It's so hard.
But so necessary.
I just pray that I can snap out if this funk I am in.
Ugh...

Busy Couple of Weeks

So of course my life comes in highs and lows. Always...when I want to sub and get orders I get neither. But when I get busy working, I always get tons of orders. So last week I worked four days (I don't know how you working moms do it!!!) and got SO many orders. This week I worked and got more orders. I have been going non stop but today I reaped the benefits of my hard work. I little pre-Mothers Day Splurge. So:
This (x3...3 orders for this exact one in the last 14 days...it's just crazy)

Teachers...I liked this

"School Teacher Job Interview"

After being interviewed by the school administration, the teaching
prospect said, "Let me see if I've got this right!

You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their
disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their
dress habits, censor their T-shirt messages, and instill in them a
love for learning.

You want me to check their backpacks f or weapons, wage war on drugs
and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self
esteem and personal pride! You want me to teach them patriotism and
good citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to
vote, balance a checkbook, and
apply for a job. You want me to check their heads for lice,
recognize signs of antisocial behavior, and make sure that they all
pass the state exams.

You also want me to provide them with an equal education regardless
of t heir handicaps, and commnicate regularly with their parents in
English and Spanish by letter, telephone, newsletter, and report
card. You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a
blackboard, a bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a
starting salary that qualifies me for food stamps!

You want me to do all this and then you tell me........
I CAN'T PRAY???????
